WTS Therapeutic: more comfort, better life!

The sole element is made of steel 52 and is 5 mm thin. The element in contact with the ground is covered with 15 mm of polyurethane 70 Shore soft. The two elements are delivered as separate pieces. The farrier screws them together  according to the horizontal rotation of the horn capsule. In other words, the sole element has to correspond to the horn capsule, and the element in contact with the ground has to correspond to the position of the coffin bone.

With the WTS Therapeutic, all the underside of the hoof is protected and the footing is entirely cushioned. The Polyurethane element can be ground to the desired angle. The heel support and the rolling can be worked separately. Since the element that is in contact with the ground is closed, it prevents accumulation of snow under the hoof. For better traction on grass or on snow, grooves can be filed into the material.

This shoe can also be used as a hospital plate shoe, since the element in contact with the ground can be easily screwed on and off.

This shoe is suitable for chronic laminitis, arthrosis, hoof traumas and injuries, and many more hoof and limb pathologies.
